The film's moving score is composed by the extraordinary Somtow Sucharitkul, who is currently artistic director of the Bangkok Opera and Siam Philharmonic Orchestra. Dubbed by the Herald Tribune as 'the most well-known expatriate Thai in the world', Somtow is a composer, author and media personality. Born in Thailand, he grew up in several European countries and lived for some years in Los Angeles before returning to Thailand. His recent work includes operas, ballets and symphonic works that combine his deep understanding of both Thai and Western musical traditions.
